About GowagrWith Gowagr, we're building a platform that allows people to trade the news, their opinions, and the outcomes of future events—think the stock market, but for topics everyone can relate to.Our thesis is simple: create a seamless, user-friendly experience that lets users transform their knowledge, skills, and information access into financial opportunities. Whether in politics, music, sports, or crypto, our users leverage their insights to participate in markets based on real-world outcomes.We also operate Squads Game: A daily fantasy sports app that lets casual and non-casual football fans wager on the stats of their favourite athlete, and win up to 100X their cash.Building cool things is challenging but incredibly fulfilling. We're looking for people who understand this and are ready to give it their best to build incredibly cool stuff.This is a hybrid role based in Lagos. You will be required to come in three days a week. Role OverviewWe’re looking for a sharp, intuitive Product Designer who thrives on turning complex ideas into beautiful, usable interfaces. You’re someone who sees design as both problem-solving and storytelling. You love creating interfaces that feel alive and visuals that feel effortless because they’re so well thought out.This role is for a designer who’s as comfortable mapping user journeys as they are obsessing over spacing and typography. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to shape the look, feel, and experience of both Gowagr and Squads Game across mobile and web.This isn’t a narrow UI role. You’ll touch everything from core product design to brand-led design decisions and creative experimentation.
