Our government client is currently seeking an experienced Product Designer (UX/UI) to contribute to the delivery of high-profile digital transformation projects on an initial 6 month contract based in Adelaide.YOU | Bring your passion for user-centred design and expertise in UX/UI to this exciting opportunity within a forward-thinking government agency. Your ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive, accessible, and elegant digital interfaces will be instrumental in delivering quality outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also bring:Proven experience in responsive and mobile web design, with a strong grasp of evolving web technologiesExpertise in developing high-fidelity wireframes, sketches, and interactive prototypesExperience delivering detailed UI specifications and reusable design patternsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for simplicity and usabilityDemonstrated ability to conduct and analyse user research, journey mapping, and usability testingExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience working in Agile delivery environmentsStrong ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teamsIdeally qualifications in Human-Centred Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related fieldTHE ROLE | As a Product Designer (UX/UI), you will work across strategic digital projects to ensure business and user needs are translated into high-quality, responsive design solutions. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager and Application Development Team Leader, you will play a key role in designing new platform features and creating seamless digital experiences that align with organisational goals and user expectations. Key responsibilities include:Designing responsive interfaces for web, tablet, and mobile platformsCreating wireframes, sketches, and prototypes to clearly communicate design conceptsSimplifying complex user workflows into intuitive and engaging experiencesEnsuring consistency with agency branding and contribution to UI/UX design systemsConducting stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and research analysisDocumenting user goals, personas, journeys, and accessibility requirementsProviding design advice and recommendations that are practical and aligned with operational constraintsTHE CLIENT | Our South Australian Government client is delivering a suite of digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving service delivery, user experience, and operational efficiency.
