Product Development Engineer - Cleans

Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technology Business in Qnity, DuPont Electronics is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our Development team in Cheonan, Korea.The successful candidate will play a key role in product scale-up and processdevelopment, supporting the validation and commercialization of raw materials used in the semiconductor industry. This position will also focus on process design and continuous improvement for intermediate and final products such as metal purification and filtration processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize processes from laboratory scale to high-volume manufacturingLead cross-functional teams in problem-solving, improvement planning, and root cause analysisDesign and execute experiments, analyze data, and document findingsApply tools such as DOE (Design of Experiments) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify solutionsCollaborate with customers to understand market trends and prioritize quality improvement initiativesActively participate in EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) programs to maintain the highest safety standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials scienceStrong understanding of organic/inorganic/polymer chemistry and chemical engineering principlesProven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying prioritiesSkilled in leading technical discussions and customer interactionsStrong English communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and implement project plans and lead crossfunctional teamsStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-motivationPreferred QualificationsSolid knowledge of metal reduction processes using ion exchange resin2+ years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of mass transport phenomenaExperience in semiconductor, electronic materials, chemical industries, or polymerizationJoin us and be part of a world-class team developing cutting-edge materials and processes for the semiconductor industry.Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!Qnity is an equal opportunity employer.
