Product Development Scientist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:(a) Product Development:Develop and optimize formulations for new and existing products.Conduct laboratory experiments, pilot trials, and scale-up activities.Familiarity with sensory evaluation and shelf-life studies.Collaborate with Rich’s Global team to lift and adapt for local needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and leading market trends in Vietnam.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and scientific advancements.(b) Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.Work with suppliers to identify new solutions and source innovative ingredients to ensure the highest product quality.(c) Quality & Compliance:Ensure all products comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate records of formulations, processes, and test results.(d) Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Marketing, Sale team, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory teams.Provide technical support during product launches and troubleshooting.Able to travel up to 25% of the time.KEY REQUIREMENTS:(a) Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in food technology or related engineering field required2–5 years of experience in food product development or R&D in the food or beverage industry.(b) Skills:Strong knowledge of formulation science and processing technologies.Proficient in data analysis and technical documentation.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Proficient in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills. Able to communicate effectively with regional and WHQ associates under the supervision of a managerProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other related software.Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO, HACCP) is a plus.
