Product Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Bommasandra Industrial AreaReporting To: Assistant Manager / Production ManagerDepartment: Engineering & ManufacturingJob OverviewOur client is seeking a Product Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the Sheet Metal / Tubes Manufacturing industry. The role involves reviewing drawings, managing pre-trial and post-trial activities, handling project execution, and ensuring smooth transfer of projects to production. This position requires strong technical knowledge, customer interaction skills, and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities Drawings Review○ Review engineering drawings and ensure accuracy as per customer and production requirements. Pretrial Activities○ Prepare necessary setups and resources for trial execution. Trial Execution○ Conduct trials and ensure product quality and specifications are met. Post-Trial Activities○ Document issues, perform corrective actions, and finalize project learnings. Trial Run Reports○ Prepare detailed trial run reports for internal and customer communication. Project Handover○ Ensure smooth transition of successful projects to the production team. Customer Interaction○ Coordinate with customers for clarifications, approvals, and feedback. Project Handling○ Manage assigned projects from initiation to production stage.Skills And QualificationsEducation: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringExperience: 2–3 years in Tubes Manufacturing / Sheet Metal IndustryTechnical Skills:○ Proficiency in AutoCAD○ Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)○ Understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal and tubes)Soft Skills:○ Strong communication and customer interaction skills○ Ability to work in a team and handle multiple projectsLanguages: Kannada and English (mandatory); Hindi preferredSkills: gd&t (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing),sheet metal,manufacturing,review drawings,post-trial activities,project handling,autocad,tubes manufacturing,customer interaction
