Join us.About The RoleThe Product Inventory Control Specialist will be a key contributor within Base Power warehouse and manufacturing operation teams Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting material flow of our C-build prototypes, driving continuous improvement in inventory control processes. This position involves a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse, including manufacturing, cycle counts and inventory control, organizing materials, operating equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and performing physical labor.What You'll DoLead and execute the physical recovery, staging, and initial processing of high-value and often time-sensitive product hardware..Perform hands-on tasks for disassembly, inspection, and safe handling of sensitive, hazardous or large assemblies using precision tools and machinery (power tools, forklifts, specialized recovery equipment).Develop and maintain detailed procedures, specifications, and test instructions for recovery and initial refurbishment/triage processes.Moving product by scanning items to different locations within the warehouse as the recovery process flows.Logistics And Asset ManagementEnsure meticulous logging and tracking of all recovered components and critical data using internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and asset management systems.Manage the inventory, storage, and timely return of defective or recovered parts for engineering investigation.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (Service Technicians, Engineers, Logistics, and vendors) to orchestrate seamless and cost-effective recovery logistics.Quality And Continuous ImprovementConduct initial auditing and diagnostic troubleshooting to assess hardware condition and validate repair/return orders against documentation.Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts by providing accurate documentation and initial findings to design and quality engineering teams.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the speed, safety, and efficiency of recovery operations, reducing non-conformance and operational costs.Ensure strict compliance with all environmental, safety, and regulatory protocols (e.g., hazardous materials, marine/field operations, or clinical/GLP/GMP standards).Communication And TeamworkAct as a technical expert and escalation point for complex field incidents and recovery challenges.Collaborate closely with Recovery, Design, and Manufacturing Engineers to provide direct, actionable feedback from field performance data to influence next-generation product design.What You'll BringMinimum of 3+ years’ experience in inventory control, in high-volume operations experience preferred.Experience using inventory control systems/ERPs such as SAP, WARP, MOS/MES, NetSuite, Odoo is a plusStrong computer literacy: Excel (intermediate), Google doc, data analysis capabilities.High attention to detail, strong analytical/problem-solving mindset, ability to investigate discrepancies and drive resolution.Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate cross-functionally.Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and certification on forklift or mobile equipment within a certain timeframe.(Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field—or equivalent experience. Knowledge of BOMs, manufacturing parts, is a plusPreferred / Value-Add AttributesExperience in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, lean-manufacturing or warehouse optimization.Experience with cycle-count programs and extensive variance reconciliation.Strong communication skills (verbal/written) for collaborating across functions and reporting to leadership.Working Conditions / Physical RequirementsWarehouse/manufacturing site environment:Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk up to 3 miles per day, bend, lift items up to 75+ lbsAbility to operate mobile equipment or be certified within a time frame.May involve multiple shifts, early mornings, or overtime depending on operations.Fast-paced environment with changing priorities; may require tight coordination and adherence to process controls.Entry-Level $22-$24Mid-Level $25-$27RSUs $1,300 Annually (5-year vest)Our ValuesWe’re Building a Winning Culture And We’re Looking For People Who Are Up For The Challenge.
