Our electric and autonomous solutions shape the sustainable mine of the future, while our connected digital solutions provide end-to-end optimization, including mine planning and remote monitoring.Product Compliance team, as part of Technology Development and Services organization in Digital Mining Technologies Division are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Liability Advisor to join our team to be based in Tampere (Myllypuro) or Turku, Finland.About The TeamTeam comprises subject matter experts in sustainability, product safety, product liability, and cybersecurity. We provide services and expertise to business area Sandvik Mining and Rock Processing product divisions to support the safety, security, sustainability, product liability and compliance of all our products. We also develop and maintain shared processes, tools, systems, and procedures and facilitate cross-divisional collaboration and information sharing.Your roleAs a Product Liability Advisor within our Product Compliance team, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating activities related to product liability and compliance. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining common processes, tools, and procedures, working closely with our legal team and subject matter experts both in Product Compliance team and across product divisions. Together with team’s safety, cyber security and sustainability experts, you will provide support and advice to internal stakeholders globally on product liability and compliance issues. Position requires occasionally international travelling.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead and maintain standardized processes, tools, and procedures for product liability and compliance across the Mining and Rock Processing business areas.Deliver expert guidance on product liability across our global operations.Advise on compliance within your domain of expertise—as an example environmental, digital, or safety legislation—while supporting global regulatory awareness.Identify and mitigate product liability and compliance risks by collaborating with stakeholders, promoting best practices, and deploying training, templates, and tools.Drive global alignment by facilitating cross-division collaboration, monitoring regulatory trends, and representing Sandvik in key industry collaboration forums and associations.Your Skills And QualificationsYou hold a relevant master’s degree and have a strong experience in product liability and compliance work. Your comprehensive understanding of applicable regulations, along with your analytical and proactive approach and clear communication skills, allow you to summarize complex information for diverse audiences. As the mining industry moves forward with digital transformation, electrification, and sustainability initiatives, your expertise supports the assessment of emerging technologies and regulations and their associated liability risks.
