Cooney​Dykema, a leading national law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Trial Paralegal to join our Product Liability and Class Action Litigation Group. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience managing complex product liability and class action cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and support.​Key Responsibilities:Assist with all aspects of case management and trial preparation, including document organization, witness preparation, and exhibit managementDraft and file pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents, including motions and subpoenasOrganize and manage large volumes of documents, conduct substantive document reviews, and assist with e-discovery processesCoordinate with expert witnesses, clients, and vendors, as well as opposing counsel, during case preparation and trialAct as a key support member during trial, managing exhibits, logistics, and technology in the courtroomPerform legal research, assist in drafting case summaries, and maintain case-related databasesProvide post-trial assistance, including preparing settlement documentation and organizing final case materialsMaintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and court rulesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program6+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on product liability and class action cases (automotive industry experience is a plus)Significant trial preparation and courtroom experienceProficiency in legal software and e-discovery tools (e.g., Lexis, Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel and work extended hours during trial periodsWhat We Offer:Compensation range: $95,000-$120,000Competitive benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentEOE
