Product Manager - Veterinary Software

IDEXX is seeking a passionate Product Manager to drive the development of our latest software platform, Vello, designed to connect veterinary practices with their clients, the pet owners. As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting new platform central to the IDEXX software portfolio!This role will be based hybrid onsite in our Auckland office. We are onsite 4 days per week, remote one. Within IDEXX, Vello is a part of the IDEXX Veterinary Software portfolio. All at their fingertips.Our journey is solving veterinary practices’ most pressing needs by focusing on innovation to drive meaningful improvements in animal health.As a Vello Product Manager, you will lead the experience for our products and drive our experimentation and Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeConducting market and user researchBecoming the product expert and evangelistOwning the business caseMaintaining a meticulously groomed backlog of well-scoped user storiesDriving sprint planning and refinementProviding ongoing engineering support and serving as the point of contactProactively communicating internally and externallyMeasuring and reporting on successManaging dependencies with other teams and squadsIn This Role, you willLead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative B2B and B2B2C veterinary software products.Understand market and user needs, gather product requirements, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.Develop, define, and execute product strategies and roadmaps, including business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for product initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and design, to deliver high-quality products on time.What you need to succeedBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management, preferably in the B2B/B2C space.Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.What You Can Expect From Us Salary of 140-160k Open style office space with plenty of room for you to grow Dog friendly office Catered lunches on Tuesday  plus food truck Fridays!
