Product Manager – ESG, Proxy Voting & Sustainability Products

With an expanding ESG and stewardship platform, the firm is at the forefront of integrating sustainability, active ownership, and proxy voting solutions into its investment products and client offerings.The Product Manager – ESG, Proxy Voting & Sustainability Products will oversee strategic projects aimed at strengthening the firm’s ESG and stewardship capabilities. This role will bridge sustainability strategy, operational delivery, and product innovation — ensuring the firm remains a leader in responsible investing and regulatory alignment across global markets.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: Manage end-to-end ESG and proxy voting initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals, client expectations, and evolving regulations.Product Development: Drive the design and implementation of new sustainability and stewardship-related investment products, data tools, and reporting solutions.Cross-functional Coordination: Partner with ESG research, operations, legal, IT, and product teams to deliver high-impact sustainability projects on time and within scope.Proxy Voting & Stewardship: Support governance and proxy voting enhancements, including system improvements, workflow optimisation, and reporting automation.Regulatory & Data Management: Ensure projects meet requirements under SFDR, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and other sustainability frameworks.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external ESG data providers, vendors, and strategic partners.Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and innovation opportunities within ESG and stewardship platforms.Qualifications & Experience5+ years’ experience in product management within asset management, investment operations, or ESG-focused roles.Strong understanding of ESG integration, stewardship, and proxy voting processes.Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.Familiarity with ESG regulations and reporting standards (SFDR, CSRD, TCFD, EU Taxonomy).Experience with sustainability data systems or proxy voting platforms (e.g., ISS, Glass Lewis) is an advantage.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is beneficial.What’s on OfferOpportunity to shape the ESG and sustainability product agenda within a forward-thinking financial institution.Dynamic, international environment with a strong sustainability culture.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid working model and career development opportunities.Apply now to find out more!
