Job RequirementsRole/Job Title: Product Manager-Gold LoanBusiness: Retail BankingJob PurposeThe Product Manager – Gold Loan will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the gold loan product within the Retail Banking division. Based in Mumbai, this role involves product ideation, planning, and execution across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams including Risk, IT and Compliance to deliver a high-quality product experience and maintain portfolio health.Role & ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesLead product ideation, conceptualization, planning, and execution throughout the product lifecycle, based on customer requirements across various channelsDerive actionable consumer insights to inform product development and strategyCollaborate with Risk teams to design products tailored to different customer segments and take proactive actions based on portfolio performanceEnsure strict adherence to compliance guidelines and audit requirementsMaintain the right product mix and ensure high portfolio qualityPublishing various MISs to give insights to top management and driving business and proposing various contests to boost businessConduct competitor benchmark to track pricing, schemes and customer value propositionsIncentive Calculations and driving various contestsManage Vendor PayoutsSecondary ResponsibilitiesDrive channel development initiatives to expand product reach and customer engagementRecommend improvements to product features and processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiencyTrack Industry trends, regulatory changes and competitors’ strategies to identify potential risk and opportunitiesEducation QualificationPost Graduation: MBA/PGDMGraduation: AnyExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in product management within retail banking or financial services within BFSI industry. Strong background in asset-based lending, especially gold loans, is highly desirable.
