You’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution that transform user passion into engagement. By merging cinematic insight with data intelligence, you’ll innovate continuously to create a platform people love—and love to stay on. The role also involves driving continuous innovation and optimization of the product by combining a deep understanding of film and television content with key metrics of user interaction and retention.ResponsibilitiesProduct Planning and Iteration: Understand the needs of film and television community users in Latin America and North America; develop and execute product plans based on user and market research conclusions. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of new features and improvements.User Engagement and Retention: Design and implement product strategies to increase user interaction, with core objectives of comments, ratings, discussions, and community activities, to improve users' navigation time and retention rates. Gather and analyze customer feedback, conduct user interviews, and collaborate with customer success teams to deeply understand user pain points and requirements.Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, development, operations, and marketing to ensure the achievement of product goals.Data Analysis: Utilize external third-party and internal business data monitoring mechanisms and related data analysis tools to analyze user behaviour and make product and business decisions based on data insights.Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing, product marketing and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new features and product launches, including positioning, messaging, and training.User Experience Design: Collaborate with design teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma. Ensure that designs are user-centred and meet high standards of usability and accessibility, ideally, if you have SQL experience.QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.5-10+ years of relevant product management experience, with a preference for those with overseas experience; familiarity with the film and television industry and relevant product experience is a plus.Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies. Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical constraints and possibilities.Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage complex concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proficient and skilled in using product project management and data analysis tools, such as Figma, Trello, and ideally with SQL.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.User-centric with innovative thinking and a strong interest in film and television content and community.Our CultureAs Peliplat expands into a global entity, our organizational culture will extend its influence across various locations, significantly impacting ongoing projects worldwide.
