Job DescriptionDepartment OverviewOur team is responsible for the following products in both domestic and overseas markets: Internal business support systems for our e-commerce platform Analytics systems for merchant sales Performance estimation systems for new strategies Accounting management systems and billing dataPositionWhy We HireIn the future, we will execute a project to migrate our current SAP ECC6.0 to SAP S/4HANA by the end of 2027. After the service goes live, we aim to achieve maintenance and operations through in-house resources. Therefore, we would like you to join from the development phase on the project to understand the specifications of the new system.Position DetailsWe are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to take ownership of our Accounting and Billing system product, specifically focusing on our SAP S/4HANA environment. You will be responsible for understanding complex business requirements and translating them into effective and operational IT plans, leveraging the capabilities of S/4HANA. You will lead projects effectively, ensuring on-time delivery with appropriate quality, while also focusing on continuous improvement and innovation within the S/4HANA landscape. This includes managing the product lifecycle, data migration strategies, and integration with other systems.ResponsibilitiesMaintain Stable Operation and Lead Operations for Accounting and Billing Systems in an SAP S/4HANA Environment:Daily system monitoring, performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and proposal of improvements.Leading the initial triage, root cause analysis, and recovery efforts during system failures.Promoting secondary responses and permanent countermeasures in collaboration with the development team.Lead User Support And Issue Resolution For Business UsersProviding prompt and accurate responses and solutions to user inquiries regarding accounting and billing systems (e.g., operation methods, data inconsistencies, business process-related issues).Collecting and analyzing user requests and improvement suggestions, and linking them to operational improvements and functional enhancements.Plan, Execute, And Improve Routine OperationsPlanning and executing routine operational tasks such as monthly/annual closing processes, accounting document consistency checks, and report generation.Creating and updating operational procedures, and disseminating and educating team members.Leading improvement activities aimed at optimizing, automating, and standardizing operational processes.Maintain Security And ComplianceEnsuring compliance with security policies and managing access rights within the SAP S/4HANA system.Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and leading audit responses.Team Member Development And Technical GuidanceSharing SAP FI module knowledge and operational know-how with operation team members and providing technical guidance.Promoting skill development across the team and supporting the establishment of an autonomous operational structure.Stay Up-to-Date with the Latest SAP S/4HANA Features and Capabilities:Continuously keeping abreast of the latest information and best practices for SAP S/4HANA, and utilizing them for operational improvements and issue resolution.Mandatory Qualifications5+ years of operational and maintenance experience with SAP FI module: Extensive experience in error handling, routine operations, and user support.Experience operating SAP S/4HANA: Experience in operational tasks within an S/4HANA environment and understanding of system characteristics.Experience leading system failure response and problem resolution: Demonstrated experience leading the entire process from root cause analysis to recovery and permanent countermeasures during system failures.Excellent communication skills with business users: Ability to accurately understand user issues and explain solutions clearly.Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping (Nissho Boki): Understanding of accounting processes and the ability to consider their impact on system operations.Strong leadership and team leadership skills: Ability to lead an operations team and guide/develop members towards achieving goals.Documentation skills: Ability to create accurate and easy-to-understand documents such as operational procedures and incident reports.Desired QualificationsSAP S/4HANA certificationExperience in operating and managing SAP Fiori: Experience handling inquiries related to Fiori apps and making minor configuration changes.Basic knowledge of SAP standard APIs and OData: Useful for troubleshooting errors in integration with other systems.Knowledge or experience with service management frameworks such as ITIL: Experience in systematic operational management.Project management experience (e.g., small-scale improvement projects)English communication skills: Required for collaboration with global teams.Other InformationAdditional information on English QualificationTOEIC Score 800 or above (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country).You will need to provide proof of your qualifications by the time you receive your offer notification.
