Job Description

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive the growth, profitability, and market competitiveness of the feed product portfolio. This role involves managing the full product lifecycle from market research and product development to pricing, promotion, and performance monitoring in coordination with technical, sales, and marketing teams.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic plans for assigned feed categories (e.g., swine, poultry, aquaculture, ruminant).Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product growth and innovation.Define product positioning, pricing strategies, and value propositions aligned with company objectives.Collaborate with R&D and Nutrition teams to conceptualize and launch new feed formulations or product improvements.Monitor product performance through sales, margin, and market share analysis; recommend actions to optimize performance.Manage product lifecycle from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring relevance to customer and market needs.Develop marketing campaigns, materials, and technical brochures to support sales and brand awareness.Plan and execute product launches, seminars, and field demonstrations in coordination with the Sales and Technical teams.Train sales teams and dealers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.Provide product knowledge and technical support to sales representatives and customers.Evaluate sales trends and promotional activities to ensure target achievement and return on marketing investment.Recommend adjustments to pricing, promotions, or product mix based on market response.Work closely with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and quality.Partner with Finance and Management in developing annual product and marketing budgets.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Agribusiness, or related field.At least 3–5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or technical sales within the animal feeds or livestock industry.Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.Knowledge of animal nutrition, feed formulations, and livestock production systems is an advantage.Willingness to travel for client visits, market surveys, and events.
