What You’ll DoThis role is ideal for someone who thrives on research, strategic thinking, and storytelling through data to ensure our offeringsremain differentiated and competitive. Specifically you will: Monitor and analyze competitor products, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. Develop andmaintain competitive battlecards, win/loss analyses, and market trend reports. Partner with global product marketing and sales teams to delivertimely competitive insights. Support product positioning and messaging with data-driven recommendations. Conduct primary and secondary research toidentify emerging threats and opportunities. Present findings in clear, compelling formats for both internal and external stakeholdersThis role directlyimpacts the messaging and product positioning our Field Teams will use while working with prospects and customers alike. Success is measured in the effective and efficient development of programs and content that positivelyimpact the market, Teradata prospects, and customers. Who You’ll Work WithProduct Marketers at Teradata must work across the organization at all levels to align messaging,solicit feedback, socialize ideas and much more. This role will work directly with a local regional POD and then more broadly across Product Managers, Field Teams, and fellow Product Marketers, as new products and offerings are brought to market. Teradata operates a hybrid working model, which requires a minimum of 50% on-site presence at our Hyderabad office to foster collaboration and team engagement. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate3-5 years’ experience in Product Marketing in the technology space. Understanding ofthe DBMS and AI marketplaces, the companies in it and the vendors that evaluate/cover the space. Work samples thatdemonstrate the ability to articulate a value proposition, tell a product story or demonstrate the value of a product(s) or service. A proventrack record of working across teams, driving projects to completion. What You’ll BringA positive, can-do attitude paired with strong interpersonal andcommunications An aptitude to digest highly technical product details and build compelling business propositions. The ability to support sales teams as they look for competitive advantagesin sales cycles.
