Job Description

At Sorama, our mission is simple: make the world sound right. We visualize sound to create actionable insights that improve quality of life. From reducing noise pollution in cities to enhancing fan engagement in stadiums, our technology transforms environments into smarter, safer, and more enjoyable spaces. The Livable Cities team develops solutions for stadiums, sports clubs, and municipalities. Ranging from FanSound for immersive fan experiences to Smart City applications for noise monitoring and safety. Picture matchday in the field with the customerTwo hours before kickoff you step into the control room. The bowl is waking up; comms chatter fills your headset. You open the Sorama FanSound dashboard and scan the pre‑flight: latency, AV sync, camera health, crowd heatmap. You huddle with game ops and the sponsor lead:“South Stand is building early, let’s arm the Decibel Duel at minute 12. We’ll couple the chase lights and board graphics; push a social call‑to‑action on the app.” Anthem. Goosebumps. The first surge rolls around the stadium as LEDs chase the loudest blocks, the big screen calls out the noisiest section, and the app dares fans to beat last week’s peak. You watch it happen in real time; clean triggers, tight sync, zero dropped frames. After the match you capture quick wins, review the activation with the sponsor, and leave the venue knowing you turned raw fan energy into measurable engagement.Picture office day with the FanSound R&D teamNext morning at Strijp‑T, you drop last night’s telemetry into a working session. Together with engineering and UX you replay the spikes, confirm what drove them, and decide what ships next. You sketch a new “Derby Surge” moment on the whiteboard, debate a trade‑off between responsiveness and visual persistence, and align with our AV partners on a smoother control‑room trigger. By lunch you’ve locked the next release slice. By late afternoon the playbook is updated so the next stadium spins up twice as fast. Strategy meets execution, and your decisions ripple from code to crowd.A note from Rick (Founder & CEO)Match nights remind us why we build: fans, together, creating moments you can feel.
