Product Owner – AI & Automation

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead AI and automation initiatives, focusing on Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and document lifecycle optimization. You’ll be part of a cross-functional, international team driving innovation and transformation across multiple business domains through AI-powered, data-driven solutions.You’ll translate business needs into impactful products, manage the roadmap, and collaborate closely with stakeholders, designers, and developers to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the AI & Automation product roadmap, aligning with business goals and technology strategy.Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories meet the Definition of Ready/Done standards.Collaborate with designers, scrum masters, and technical teams to ensure clear alignment and delivery across Agile squads.Translate business needs into AI-enabled product features, particularly around document management, OCR/ICR, and workflow automation.Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, performance reporting, and feedback loops.Act as a key interface between business, IT, and data teams, ensuring smooth end-to-end development and delivery.Foster Agile transformation, promoting collaboration, adaptability, and stakeholder engagement.Oversee supplier coordination, budgeting, and governance of the platform and services.Contribute to the IT Product Owner community, sharing best practices and supporting a culture of innovation.Ensure all product developments adhere to security, quality, and compliance standards.Required Skills & Experience8–10 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in digital transformation or automation.Proven ability to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions.Strong understanding of document lifecycle management and automation tools.Experience with AI, OCR/ICR technologies (e.g., ABBYY, Azure AI Document Intelligence, etc.).Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, leading cross-functional teams.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.Fluency in English (both written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Nice to HaveExperience in Intelligent Automation, RPA, or Data & AI platforms.Exposure to cloud-based ecosystems and document processing platforms.Background in financial services, B2B automation, or enterprise IT environments.Why Join UsLead AI-driven product transformation within a global enterprise.Collaborate with diverse international teams across business and technology.Influence strategic decisions on automation and data innovation.Be part of a forward-thinking, Agile, and technology-focused culture.
