Product Owner

The PositionAs part of our growing business, we are looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical background in C++ to join our team in Eindhoven. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and engineering execution, ensuring that our high-performance software solutions deliver maximum value for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the engineering team, translating business needs into clear technical requirements and development priorities.Leverage your understanding of C++ and software development to guide technical discussions and make informed product decisions.Define and maintain the product roadmap, aligning it with company strategy and client expectations.Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts focus on high-impact features.Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and QA to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.Monitor product performance, collect feedback, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.Support project planning, estimation, and release coordination across distributed teams.Your ProfileProven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role in a software-driven environment.Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (HBO or WO).Solid understanding of C++ software development and familiarity with modern development processes (Agile/Scrum).Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance technical possibilities with business priorities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning diverse perspectives.Proactive, structured, and passionate about delivering value through technology.Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.Comfortable collaborating with distributed engineering teams across different countries.Working ConditionsLease car with fuel cardHybrid working modelMonthly net expense allowance27 vacation days, with the option to purchase 10 additional daysPension scheme without personal contributionWhy Choose ALTEN?Exciting projects in leading sectors: Be part of impactful initiatives in defence, transport, telecom, and finance, where your leadership and technical insight will make a real difference.
