Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors for payment application projects.Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements with a clear understanding of banking and payment processes.Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing.Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical feasibility, and regulatory compliance.Prepare and maintain business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, process flows, and training documentation.Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams throughout the SDLC to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT testing to validate that deliverables meet user and compliance expectations.Support project delivery, integration, and go-live activities, ensuring operational readiness and user adoption.Ensure payment-related products comply with relevant security and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 20022).Requirements:At least 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner in banking, payments, or fintech domains.Proven experience working on payment systems, payment gateways, or transaction processing platforms.Strong techno-functional background — able to engage in both business process discussions and system-level analysis.Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.Understanding of compliance and security standards such as PCI-DSS will be an advantageExperience with ISO 20022, SWIFT, or other financial messaging standards is a plus.
