You’ll support the release process end-to-end, keeping teams aligned, timelines sharp, and quality uncompromised.From planning to rollout, you’ll support in making sure every release is smooth, secure, and compliant, so our customers can run their most sensitive workloads with confidence. If you love turning complex delivery cycles into seamless launches, this role puts you right at the core of where innovation meets execution.Your Key Responsibilities:Release Planning & Coordination:Define, maintain, and communicate release schedules, milestones, and dependencies across multiple teams (engineering, QA, infrastructure, compliance, and operations).Align product releases with strategic business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments.Cross-Functional Support:Serve as the central point of contact between Product, Engineering, Security/Compliance, and Customer Success for all release-related matters.Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure timely readiness of features, infrastructure, and documentation.Governance & Compliance:Support the team to ensure that every release meets strict data sovereignty, compliance (e.g., ISO, NIS2), and security requirements before deployment.Facilitate release readiness reviews, risk assessments, and compliance sign-offs.Process Ownership & OptimizationDevelop, implement, and refine standardized release management processes, ensuring reliability and repeatability in sovereign cloud delivery.Support the KPIs for release performance (e.g., release frequency, rollback rates, deployment success rate) and drive continuous improvement.Risk & Incident ManagementIdentify, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact release timelines or quality.Facilitate release rollbacks, hotfixes, and post-release incident management in collaboration with Operations.Customer & Stakeholder EnablementEnsure all external release notes, internal documentation, and stakeholder updates are delivered accurately and on time.Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales Engineering teams to align release communication with client expectations.Innovation & GrowthStay abreast of industry trends in high-performance computing, sovereign cloud, and AI infrastructure, integrating best practices into release management.Support the scalability of release operations as the company grows, enabling faster and more secure delivery cycles.Your Profile:Professional Competencies:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.3–5 years in release management, technical program work, or product/project operations.Expertise with Jira workflows, dashboards, Epics, Fix Versions, and automation.Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery in SaaS or platform-based teams.Ability to build repeatable processes for QA, feedback, release control, and project tracking.Fluent in English; German language fluency is an advantage.Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP) desirable.Personal CompetenciesStrong communicator with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented, with strong organizational skills across time zones.Trustworthiness and integrity when managing sensitive information.Adaptability: Comfortable operating in ambiguity and dynamic environments.Analytical thinker able to identify gaps and close them before escalation.Familiarity with AI, secure cloud, or confidential computing is a plus.Apply now and Join us in shaping the future of AI-driven innovation!Equal Opportunity StatementAt Phoenix Technologies, we believe diversity drives innovation.
