We are currently seeking a Product Security Specialist to join the team and contribute to building a secure digital banking platform.About the TeamThis is a startup team formed in partnership with a leading financial institution to create a new digital bank. The goal is to deliver user-friendly, cost-effective, and timely financial services, while contributing to the growth of the Japanese economy through innovative back-office solutions.Main Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Security Specialist, you will work closely with developers and IT personnel to ensure the security of the digital banking platform. Responsibilities include:Establishing security guardrails for cloud environmentsProviding in-house security consulting and technical adviceDeveloping security-related tools and scriptsImplementing frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS ControlsDriving DevSecOps practices, including Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CDRequired Skills and ExperienceBasic understanding of computer science (networks, OS, data structures, cryptography)Development experience in any programming language or practical experience in security-by-designKnowledge or experience in one or more of the following:Vulnerability assessmentCloud securityDevSecOps implementationSecurity solutions (WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM)Preferred Skills and ExperienceExperience in CTF or bug huntingCVE acquisitionCertifications (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, GCIH)Deep understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OIDC, OAuth)Experience in financial or fintech security standardsExperience in AI development or using AI tools to enhance development processesLanguage RequirementsJapanese: Not required
