Product Specialist, Adtima (Ad Integration)

Job Description

As part of the Zalo App Product R&D team, this role focuses on leading ad integration initiatives across Zalo’s core user experiences — including Inbox, Chat, and Search — to drive monetization while preserving user value. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define the ad experience roadmap, ensure seamless technical integration, and deliver impactful ad surfaces that align with Zalo’s ecosystem strategy.What you will doAd Integration & Product Ownership (60%)Act as the product owner for ad placements within Zalo’s core app modules; define the long-term product vision and release roadmap;Collaborate with Zalo App and Ad Platform stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and deliver monetization-ready features with high user experience standards;Translate business goals and advertiser requirements into clear technical and UX specifications for engineering and design teams;Oversee A/B tests, capping strategies, and creative format validations to improve user engagement and ad performance;Align with data and operations teams to monitor delivery KPIs & other operational metrics;Cross-Functional Product Strategy (40%)Bridge between Zalo App teams and Ad Platform to align roadmap, dependencies, and experiment results;Benchmark competitor platforms to identify new ad surfaces and placement opportunities within chat and search ecosystems;Define product success metrics and regularly communicate performance insights and iteration proposals to leadership;Document requirements and manage rollout coordination across teams.What you will needMust-haveBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field;Minimum 3 years of experience in digital advertising, ad product management, or app-based monetization;Strong understanding of in-app advertising and user experience principles;Proven track record in managing cross-functional stakeholders and delivering complex integrations;Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights.Nice-to-haveExperience with chat app ecosystems or search monetization;Familiarity with ad serving platforms, auction systems, and user targeting workflows;Hands-on experience in prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and SQL-based analytics.
