Our work spans AI, liquidity management, behavior-informed decision systems, and a rapidly expanding portfolio of strategic partnerships. This role sits inside a high-velocity “skunkworks” effort, shaping next-generation product strategy across healthcare, financial services, and institutional liquidity.The RoleWe are seeking a Product Strategy Intern who is sharp, curious, and highly self-directed — someone who blends financial services fluency with strategic problem-solving and a willingness to roll up their sleeves.This is not a passive internship. You will work directly with C-suite leaders on a set of high-impact strategic deliverables, including:A McKinsey-level “walking around” presentation refining our institutional liquidity strategy.The next major business case and strategic plan for NexTrust.Research, modeling, and synthesis that inform product direction, partner strategy, and market positioningWhat You’ll DoStrategic & Analytical WorkDevelop and refine a top-tier consulting-grade deck articulating the product vision, market dynamics, and strategic roadmapBuild and iterate the next-generation business case, including market sizing, financial modeling, competitor mapping, and scenario analysisAnalyze banking, trust company, asset management, and institutional liquidity structuresResearch & Expert EngagementConduct structured interviews with bankers, investors, operational leaders, regulators, and subject-matter expertsGrasp complex regulatory environments (trust law, custody rules, liquidity requirements, etc.) — no fear of legal or governance topicsProduct Strategy & GTMIdentify gaps and opportunities across banking, treasury, hospital finance, and emerging AI-driven liquidity systemsSupport definition of product requirements, value propositions, and ecosystem implicationsWork closely with NexStratus leaders to pressure-test assumptions, challenge viewpoints, and uncover actionable insightsWho You AreRequiredDemonstrated knowledge of financial services — ideally banking + investments (treasury, liquidity, trust, custody, or related domains)Strong communicator — clear writer, confident speaker, able to synthesize complexity for executivesIntensely curious, truth-seeking, and willing to “chase the thread” wherever it leadsA self-starter who can independently research, model, and bring forward well-reasoned points of viewComfortable picking up the phone to network, interview, and pressure-test ideasNot intimidated by legal, regulatory, or policy materialSkilled in PowerPoint, Excel/Sheets, and structured problem solvingPreferredMBA, MSBA, Public Policy, Finance, or similar graduate-level trainingExperience in banking, institutional investments, trust companies, or fintechExposure to consulting frameworksInterest in healthcare systems, data, or infrastructure innovationPersonal TraitsEager to learnComfortable with ambiguityThrives in a fast-paced, founder-driven environmentHigh integrity, low ego, bias for actionWilling to challenge assumptions respectfullyWhat You’ll GainDirect access to NexStratus leadership. This opportunity reports to the CEO.Opportunity to contribute to a core strategic product initiative with real company-level impactMentorship across product, strategy, finance, and healthcare operationsExposure to enterprise clients, advisory board members, and investor discussionsPotential pathway to a full-time strategic or product role
