Job Description

The Production Assistant role at One of Us provides support to the VFX Producer to ensure projects run smoothly. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and collaborate well within the project team as well as the wider company support teams. They will be level-headed under pressure, super organised and have good attention to detail.RequirementsAssisting the VFX Producer in day to day tasksManaging and tracking all project data IO and overseeing the relevant activities of the data IO teamClient review preparation in collaboration with the VFX Producer and VFX SupervisorTaking notes in internal and external meetingsUpdating the production database with any external feedback, tracking in-coming and out-going deliveries and updating statusesManaging and maintaining communication groups i.e. email and ShotGrid groupsManaging the project calendar; communicating team absencesManaging new starter processes i.e. issuing welcome emails and arranging welcome meetingsActing as the production point of contact for the Facilities teamProject event planning and budgetingExperience:Previous VFX production experience (desirable but not essential)Knowledge of the VFX production process from concept to completionGood familiarity with post-production pipelines, techniques, and softwareTechnical Skills:Experience with ShotGrid Software (desirable)Knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suites, especially spreadsheets (essential)Basic editorial knowledge (desirable)Basic Linux (desirable) Professional Skills:Excellent organisational skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work under pressureAbility to prioritise tasks and work to deadlinesExcellent attention to detail.
