If you're interested in driving and leading production engineering initiatives and collaborating across roles, this position might be exactly what you're looking for!Your TeamAs a Production Engineer, you will be part of the Surface Division, which develops, manufactures and markets equipment for rock and exploration drilling. These machines are used worldwide in various applications such as civil engineering, geotechnical construction, quarries, and mining.You will join a production engineering team of 35 people, including roles such as Process Engineers, Production Technicians, Industrialization Engineers, and Project Managers. The team works continuously with strategic planning and development of assembly methods, work instructions, quality assurance, productivity improvements, and streamlining processes.Your MissionIn this role, you will work with a team focused on continuous improvement, reducing lead and build times, and enhancing product quality and delivery reliability. Together with excellent service and support, we see this as the key to increased customer satisfaction.Your main responsibilities as a Production Engineer include actively participating in the production development process by continuously improving work methods and techniques to increase productivity and reduce product costs. This role will have a strong focus on battery systems, ensuring battery communication and verification testing of battery modules.You will work cross-functionally to represent production interests in various forums and meetings. Your tasks will include establishing assembly sequences, instructions, and checklists, as well as being responsible for developing assembly aids such as fixtures and torque tools. You will also perform and participate in prototype assembly analysis and establish test and control methods within the production flow.Your ProfileWe are looking for candidates with a university degree or documented experience in production engineering, along with knowledge of LEAN methodology within the manufacturing or assembly industry. You should also have experience and knowledge of battery systems. Your passion for production engineering and your determination to achieve complete results are key qualities for this role.You have good English skills, both spoken and written, and knowledge of Swedish is a plus. You should enjoy solving complex problems and be ready to support the business in the best possible way. Building and maintaining relationships is an important part of the job, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working with many different stakeholders.Other essential qualities include the ability to organize your work effectively and collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve desired results.
