The role will provide key operational and technical support to both the Smart Room and on-site production teams, focusing on process optimization, emissions monitoring, and performance improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSmart Room OperationsProvide operational and technical support to the Smart Room and site operations.Monitor GHG emissions to minimize flaring and identify factors contributing to increased flare visibility.Offer process and technical support across wells, chemical management, production, processing, and monitoring activities.Participate in process studies and recommend performance improvements or facility upgrades.Generate weekly reports on gas flaring volumes and SO₂ emissions.Investigate sources of flared gas and correlations with maintenance activities.Support environmental exceedance analysis and implement corrective actions per the Environmental Monitoring Plan (PMA).Summarize daily air quality and odor emission exceedances detected by the TEEPIT monitoring network.Design and maintain PI Vision dashboards and visualization tools.Develop monitoring tools in PI and PI-AF to analyze and optimize plant performance.Support field-based activities including test runs, performance tests, and fiscal metering.Contribute to GHG emissions monitoring and FOPS-related actions within the CFR roadmap.Continuous Emissions MonitoringMonitor parameters for six emission points using the Automatic Emissions Monitoring System (SME).Report anomalies or exceedances of authorized thresholds.Collect and archive daily emission data and reports.Prepare daily summary and anomaly reports, coordinating with site teams for troubleshooting and corrective actions.Reporting & CommunicationPrepare and submit summary reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as required.Draft, protocol, and manage communications with Authorities per Regional Decree DGR 588/2021 (AIA), including notifications of installation upsets.Record anomalies (Production, Process, Environment) and related corrective actions.Support the CSR department with air quality or odor monitoring reports in case of community complaints.Assist the ENV department with monthly GHG flaring gas conversion calculations.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 5–10 years in process engineering, ideally within oil & gas production facilities.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of O&G processes, process safety management, and industry technologies.Proficient in heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and energy conversion principles.Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.Additional InformationAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our human resources policy.
