Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Production Engineering to lead our global and local production engineering activities.About this positionAs our new Head of Production Engineering, you will lead a team of eight skilled engineers in Denmark and together with the sites in Denmark, China and Mexico drive efficient, reliable, and cost-effective production processes.You will manage global projects involving the setup and relocation of production equipment and ensure smooth transitions between factories. You will build and execute a strong project pipeline, lead improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, and continuously develop and optimize production processes and equipment.Your responsibility spans the full product cycle – from design and prototyping to implementation, operation, and phase-out – ensuring that our equipment and processes perform at their best.You will report directly to the COOYour BackgroundEngineering or technical degree, preferably in mechanical engineering.Minimum five years of leadership experience.Industry experience, ideally from a project-based company involved in the development and manufacturing of machinery.Strong experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving in production environments.Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain production machinery and ensure optimal equipment performance and stable operations.Personal QualificationsStrategic and holistic mindset, able to see both technical and business perspectives.Strong leadership and collaboration skills across functions and cultures.Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.Open to change, innovative, and proactive.Clear and effective communication skills in both Danish and English.What We OfferPolytech offers this position in a dynamic company that, together with major players in the wind industry, is working to promote the green transition.
