Job PurposeTo oversee the resource planning and execution of production activities within the back process and grinding units of the facility while adhering to plant protocols and proceduresJob ResponsibilitiesLead the development and optimization of manufacturing schedules, procedures, and resource plans in collaboration with the Production Lead, ensuring alignment with broader production strategyTake ownership of production, material flow, and inventory performance for assigned lines, driving improvements in cost, efficiency, and qualityProactively plan and implement optimized workforce deployment strategies to meet production demands, while mentoring team members to build operational agilityTrack and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production data against targets, initiating corrective actions to mitigate deviations and proposing improvements to planning modAct as a key liaison between Production and QHSE teams to proactively resolve raw material and finished product quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement waste reduction initiativesLead coordination with Maintenance and Engineering to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing unscheduled downtime and improving equipment reliability metricsAnalyze recurring equipment malfunctions and independently drive root cause analysis, contributing to long-term reliability engineering and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure timely and accurate documentation across production reports, quality records, wastage logs, and equipment history, while leading readiness for internal and external auditsChampion compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant standards across the Back Process & Grinding area, leading periodic reviews and improvements of SOPsServe as the area lead on Health & Safety, identifying risks and ensuring implementation of corrective/preventive actions to foster a culture of safety excellenceDrive adoption of best-in-class production practices and automation opportunities, providing insights to leadership for continuous improvement and operational excellenceAct as a deputy to the Assistant Manager in team oversight, reporting, and stakeholder communication during their absenceAdaptable to harsh factory environments, including facilities processing chili and diverse agricultural crops Background Requirements Education: Degree in Food Engineering.Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience preferred. Location: Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan.
