Production Labelling Associate

Job Title: Production Labelling AssociateDepartment: Production / PackagingReporting To: Production Supervisor / Quality ControllerLocation: DubaiEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:The Product Labeller is responsible for accurately labelling all finished food products in compliance with company standards, product specifications, and food safety regulations. This role ensures that every item leaving the production area is correctly identified, traceable, and presented in accordance with branding and legal labelling requirements.Key Responsibilities:Apply product labels on packaged food items as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch instructions.Verify that each label displays accurate information — including product name, ingredients, allergen details, nutritional facts, manufacturing date, expiry date, batch number, and barcode.Ensure all labels are properly aligned, cleanly applied, and securely attached to packaging.Conduct routine checks to ensure labels correspond to the correct product and batch.Report any labelling errors, damaged labels, or inconsistencies immediately to the Production Supervisor or Quality Control team.Maintain proper hygiene, personal grooming, and cleanliness in the labelling area as per food safety standards (HACCP / ISO / Dubai Municipality regulations).Keep daily records of labelled quantities, batch numbers, and time logs.Assist in calibration and basic maintenance of labelling machines where applicable.Support the Quality Control team in ensuring products are compliant with regulatory labelling standards.Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Health & Safety protocols while performing duties.Qualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in food labelling, packaging, or food production line is preferred.Basic understanding of food labelling regulations and shelf-life management.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in label placement and verification.Ability to read and interpret batch sheets, label formats, and expiry coding.Good communication and teamwork skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.Manual dexterity to handle small labels and packaging materials efficiently.Ability to lift and move boxes or materials (up to 15–20 kg).Work Environment:Food production facility or cold storage area.May involve working in temperature-controlled or chilled environments.Requires compliance with food hygiene, PPE, and safety standards at all times.
