Job descriptionSupervising daily manufacturing activities to ensure products are made efficiently, meeting quality standards and meeting target schedules. Managing and training Production StaffLiaising with Customer Service in scheduling production jobsSetting production targets to staff, analysing areas for improvementMachine setupEnforcing policies and regulations to ensure compliance with health and safety standardsAllocating resources for the Production DepartmentVerifying conformance on all first piece, in-process and final inspection of product via utilization of the measuring instrumentsWorking with Production staff to create custom packaging to meet customer and shipping requirementsCoordinating with QA Manager to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfactionAssisting QA Manager in conducting internal auditsComplying with company external accreditationsJob requirementsIn order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:Relevant experience and qualifications requiredPrevious Lead or Management experience 5+ years, working within a Manufacturing or Engineering businessLeadership skillsKnowledge of ISO9001 preferredExcellent attention to detail and communication skills with the teamGood knowledge of MS packages, and a sound knowledge of various QMSGood command of the English language, both spoken and writtenAre you looking for the role of a pioneer and aiming to join our customer, then please send your CV to Ms. Andra Ordean, application@nipponrecruitment.com
