As a rapidly growing, project-driven organisation, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and building strong, collaborative teams.We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead the execution of our manufacturing operations and play a key role in delivering complex engineered products that support water infrastructure and environmental outcomes across the country.About the RoleReporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for managing and executing all manufacturing activities from Sales Handover through to Dispatch within our Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment.Although production planning and scheduling are managed by our Master Planner and Scheduler, this role ensures the effective execution of those plans, translating project requirements into safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes.You will oversee and ensure deliverables in key operational areas, including:Design – ensure timely release of production documentation while providing support and feedback related to design. Stores & Inventory – oversee inventory control, stock accuracy and coordination with procurement for material flow. Factory Operations – oversee production activities and workforce allocation with strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement. Freight & Dispatch – Oversee timely planning, management and dispatch of goods according to customer requirements. Job Tracking & Time Capture – Manage systems for accurate time recording and reporting to support labour analysis and cost controlProblem-solving is an essential part of this role, you’ll be responsible for resolving production challenges, supporting team decision-making, and ensuring projects stay on track.This position is central to the success of AWMA’s production environment. You will work closely with the wider engineering, planning, and project teams to ensure seamless workflow across the business and contribute to ongoing improvements in efficiency, capability, and performance.About YouYou are an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong understanding of production workflows, engineering documentation, and operational requirements.
