Production Manager

Our privately owned, family company employs over 2000 people with operations throughout Australia.Our Woodridge Windows & Doors branch provides sales, fabrication and installation of aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets. We are seeking an experienced, focused and organised Production Manager to oversee our people, planning, scheduling and manufacturing processes.The RoleReporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for safe and efficient planning and manufacture of accurate quality customer windows and doors orders in full and on time - including:People leadership and management – labour planning, supervision, inductions, training, workplace health and safety, adherence to company policies and proceduresFactory management – workflow efficiency, quality assurance, minimising waste, stock control, safety, machine operation and maintenance requirements, dispatch / logistics, housekeeping, storageAdministrative tasks – order documentation, communicating with customers, production schedules / meeting deadlinesThe PersonTo be successful in this role it is essential that you are a self-driven person possessing the following skills, experience and attributes:Previous operational management and leadership experience within a manufacturing environmentGlass & Glazing / Window fabrication (or related industry) Trade background or ability to quickly learn technical and product requirementsFurther training in Leadership & ManagementAbility to troubleshoot and implement solutions with a high standard of attention to detail and dedication to a quality productCommercially astute and customer focusedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills and experience with ERP/manufacturing systems (Oracle preferred)The BenefitsThis is an important role within our business and, as such, you will be provided with:Competitive salary commensurate with experience + a fully maintained company utility vehicleFull-time permanent position - ongoing workCorporate health benefits - 7% off BUPA health coverTraining and develop opportunitiesExcellent employment conditions, job stability and a commitment to career advancement for enthusiastic and motivated peopleTo ApplyThis role will provide you with the opportunity to achieve some real wins and secure a strong career path.
