Production Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a leading aerospace and manufacturing organization in Mississauga. In this role, you’ll oversee all production activities, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule goals are met while driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll play a key part in coordinating resources, supporting supervisors, and aligning production operations with organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee timely manufacturing and processing of components, parts, and assemblies according to the Master Production Schedule.Manage and support Production Supervisors, ensuring effective resource utilization and staffing levels.Monitor production capacity, workload, employee performance, and attendance.Collaborate with Materials Planning, Estimating, Manufacturing Engineering, and Sales to deliver accurate forecasts and competitive quotations.Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize costs, boost productivity, and optimize flexibility.Develop and mentor production supervision staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team culture.Coordinate application of the Collective Agreement in partnership with Human Resources.QualificationsEngineering degree or equivalent.5–10 years of progressive manufacturing and production management experience.Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of AS9100 / 9110 standards (AMO expertise is an asset).Strong leadership, people management, and motivational skills.Proven track record in project management, process improvement, and results delivery.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with computer systems and production management tools.What We OfferCompetitive salary.Fully company-paid benefits package.Generous pension plan.Excellent career progression opportunities.Positive work-life balance.Commitment to professional development and growth.Employee Assistance Program.On-site employee recreation club and free parking.Job Type: Full-time
