PRODUCTION MANAGER (Job Responsibilities6issionGuarantee respect for production plans in terms of quantity, quality, timing and efficiency.Guarantee proper organization of means and resources in the workshop, ensuring all safety and health standards are met.Support and take care of the resources within its perimeter to mantain a motivating and engaged climate/environment in production dept.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the whole Leather Goods manufacturing process, in order to reach expected volumes and efficiency targetsManage a team of 6 Production Supervisors, around 250 workers, 2 production Industrialization technicians Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staffSetting productivity goals for each manufacturing teamGuarantee respect of production plan daily/weekly, giving feedbacks to planning departmentProduce progress reports on efficiency and other relevant KPIsEnsure respect of quality standards as far as finished products are concernedCommunicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting productionEnsuring adequate scheduling of staff and supervise the recruitment, polyvalence and development plan. ProfileProfile Education: University degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Experience: minimum 5 years in the role in an industrial manufacturing context Expertise on manufacturing processes and Lean Manufacturing Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization Ability to coach and motivate Strong team builing attitude Problem solving and decision making Negotiation skills Excellent computer knowledges Fluent English & Italian – French will be a plus.Additional InformationRORelations and StructureWithin the Production Department, the position reports to the Production Director.Relationships with Supply Chain, Quality, Industrialization and external suppliers.LocationRadda in Chianti (SI), Tuscany (Italy)
