Well-established company with awesome head office, on a strong growth trajectorySuccessful Aussie label investing in their product and teamHighly desirable product and international presenceHybrid role – WFH & in the officeWe are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our client's fast-growing Made To Order (MTO) Division, based at their global head office in Sydney. This is a critical leadership role, managing end-to-end production for their mass market brand, which serves global retail partners including Target Australia, Anaconda, ALDI, Walmart, Tesco, Costco, and TJX, among others.You will be the central point of contact between their factories (primarily based in China) and their international retail customers. The role requires proven experience in managing complex supply chains, navigating the nuances of large-scale production, and ensuring compliance with diverse product and logistics requirements.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, factories, and retail customers across all stages of the production process.Manage the full production lifecycle: vendor onboarding, factory audits, item setup, testing, inspections, shipping bookings, and invoicing.Ensure the accurate and timely communication of customer requirements (compliance, logistics, product specs) to manufacturing partners.Collaborate with the Design Team to coordinate artwork proofing, packaging specifications, and lifestyle/product photography.Support the Head of Production and Division Manager in task prioritisation and administrative follow-up.Partner with IT and Finance teams to manage production-related risks, including insurance, invoicing, and ERP system data integrity.Experience & Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally having worked directly with major retailers such as Kmart, Big W, TJX, ALDI, Costco, or through importers.Demonstrated experience working with factories in China across both hard and soft goods categories.Strong knowledge of mass market retail processes, both in Australia and internationally.Expertise in manufacturing, logistics, compliance, product development, and packaging design.Prior experience managing product safety protocols and factory compliance audits.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP knowledge is a plus.Mandarin language skills are advantageous, but not essential.Ideal Candidate Profile:Exceptionally organized with acute attention to detail.Strong time management skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proactive and solutions-oriented with strong critical thinking capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.Natural leader who leads from the front and motivates teams by example.Comfortable making decisions independently while respecting input from others.Prioritises tasks effectively and adjusts quickly to shifting business needs.Displays a sense of urgency and takes full ownership of their area of responsibility.If you would like to join this fast-paced, ambitious and collaborative team then apply now!All applications treated in strict confidence.Please note, due to the high volume of applicants, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
