Biotech Technical Associate (BTA) – Dunboyne, Co. Meath Location: Dunboyne Biotech Facility, County Meath, IrelandShift Pattern: 12-hour continental shifts (days & nights)Shift Premium: 33%We’re seeking a Biotech Technical Associate to join our state-of-the-art, single-use, multi-product biotech facility in Dunboyne. This role is part of a Self-Directed Work Team (SDWT) model that empowers employees to make decisions where expertise and data reside.You’ll perform end-to-end biologic drug substance manufacturing within a GMP environment — from cell culture and inoculation to purification and filtration using advanced single-use technologies. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance, while supporting continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma principles.What You’ll DoExecute and monitor automated bioprocess operations.Set up and maintain single-use systems for filtration, chromatography, and buffer prep.Ensure documentation accuracy and GMP compliance.Support team KPIs related to safety, quality, and efficiency.Contribute to process improvement and innovation across the site.What You’ll Bring2+ years’ experience in biotech or biopharma manufacturing, ideally in downstream processing.Experience with GLIMS, SAP, and DeltaV systems.Strong knowledge of GMP and EHS standards.Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.Commitment to Right-First-Time execution and continuous learning.Why JoinThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a next-generation biotech facility that’s digital, flexible, and built on collaboration and innovation.
