About Como No & La Linea FestivalComo No is England’s leading promoter of music from Latin America, with a legacy dating back to the 1980s. We have presented landmark shows in venues ranging from The Jazz Café and Village Underground to the Royal Albert Hall and The O2 Arena.Our flagship event, La Linea – The London Latin Music Festival, has brought exciting projects and memorable performances to audiences across the capital every April since 2001. Artists such as Gilberto Gil, Celia Cruz, Natalia Lafourcade, Buena Vista Social Club, Seu Jorge, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs have all been part of our programme.Since April 2023, Como No has been a National Portfolio Organisation supported by Arts Council England, expanding our work and strengthening the bridge between Latin America and the UK.The RoleWe are looking for a Promoter & Production Assistant to join our small and dedicated team. This is a hands-on, part-time role supporting the Director and Operations Manager in the planning and delivery of Como No shows and La Linea Festival events.The role is ideal for someone passionate about latin music who is looking to develop experience in event production and logistics. You will help coordinate shows from start to finish, liaising with venues, artists, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional event delivery.You will be based in our London office two to three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on administrative tasks and attend selected live events as required. Some evening work will also be required.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with logistics and coordination for live shows, maintaining communication between venues, artists, and suppliers.Support artist advancing, including travel, accommodation, hospitality, and technical arrangements.Help prepare and maintain production schedules, contact lists, and event documentation.Provide on-site support at our events, assisting with load-ins, soundchecks, and show operations.Maintain clear and timely communication across internal teams, venues, and artist representatives.Provide support with administrative tasks.Create letters of invitation and help with visa procedures for touring artists.Assist the Director and Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the company.Contribute to creative ideas for new events, playing an active role in the success of the wider team.Desirable Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in live music, touring, or event production.Familiarity with backline, technical riders, or stage management.Experience using event management or ticketing software.About YouOrganised, proactive, and reliable, with excellent attention to detail.Strong communication and multitasking skills.Fluent in English and either Spanish or Portuguese (verbal and written).A genuine interest in latin music, event production, or artist management.Confident using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.Able to work some evenings and weekends when shows take place.Based in London and available to attend the office in central London two to three days per week.Terms and Conditions Contract: Freelance, project-based (6 months) with the possibility of extension. Approximately 2–3 days per week, with the possibility of increased hours during peak periods such as the La Línea Festival (April–May).Location: In person at our London office and at London venues during show periods.Start Date: End January 2026/ Beginning of February 2026Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, meaning they must already hold the appropriate visa, residency status, or citizenship that allows them to work in the UK without requiring additional sponsorship.
