Job Title:Production Team LeaderLocation:Saudi Arabia – DammamDepartment:ProductionReports to:Production ManagerJob Purpose:To lead and coordinate production team activities on the shop floor, ensuring that all manufacturing processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and quality standards to meet production targets and timelines.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and guide production operators and technicians during daily operations.Ensure that all production activities comply with GMP, SOPs, and safety procedures.Monitor and control the performance of production lines to achieve output, quality, and efficiency goals.Coordinate shift schedules, task assignments, and manpower allocation.Conduct line clearance and ensure readiness of equipment and materials before production starts.Support troubleshooting of equipment or process issues in collaboration with maintenance and quality teams.Maintain accurate and complete documentation (Batch Records, Logbooks, Checklists).Train and develop team members to enhance technical and GMP knowledge.Participate in investigations, deviation reports, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the production area.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Experience: 3–5 years in pharmaceutical production, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.Skills:Strong leadership and communication skills.Sound understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical production processes.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to manage teams and prioritize multiple tasks.Proficiency in MS Office and production documentation systems.Personal Attributes:Organized, reliable, and results-oriented.Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality.Ability to work under pressure and within shift schedules.Positive attitude and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.
