Professor of Intermediate Accounting

LearningMate is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as an Educational Content Writer for a college-level Intermediate Accounting course. This role involves working with a team to develop clear, engaging, and accessible content for an asynchronous distance learning model.Content must be written in such a way that it is clear, engaging, and accessible to all types of learners.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with an experienced team on the development of intermediate accounting course content.Follow provided Clients guidelines when reviewing content.Revise content based on feedback and as needed.Use provided templates to ensure consistency in all materials.Create scenarios, case studies, and other items to support assessments.Write assessment questions using a variety of question types.Requirements:Strong command of both written and verbal English.Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting).Experience writing content specifically for online courses.Familiarity with educational theories, such as Situated Learning Theory, Adult Learning Theory, and Universal Design for Learning.Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):Prior teaching experience.Experience writing educational assessments.Experience working in a related professional field.
