OverviewJhpiego, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is implementing the Female Pharmacy Associates Initiative under the Komlaphul Pharmacy Intervention (Introduction of SRHR Information, Services, and Referral in Pharmacies). Under the overall guidance of the Program Director – SRHR and the supervision of the Project Specialist – Urban Health (Program Support), the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties.Responsibilities S/he will coordinate with other team members, managers, and providers of the targeted project areas to accomplish the planned activities as per the approved AWP. Overall coordination of different stakeholders of the project and liaison with UNFPA, DGHS, DGFP, DGDA, BCDS, PCB, and private sectors like City Bank PLC, Eidy ICT Solutions Ltd., Etc. Identify eligible pharmacies, active female pharmacists, and older adolescents for the Female Pharmacy Associates initiative. Conduct local-level advocacy and sensitization with relevant authorities (DGHS, DGFP, DGDA, Women and Children Affairs, IFB, Social Services, etc.) to promote women’s employment in pharmacies. Organize and facilitate orientation, sensitization, and cascade training for pharmacists and Female Pharmacy Associates on SRHR and FP services. Provide mentorship support and follow-up to trained pharmacists and pharmacy associates. Engage BCDS and pharmacy owners through advocacy and workshops to promote employment and gender-equitable workplaces. Lead campaigns to enhance visibility and awareness of pharmacy-based SRHR initiatives. Conduct supportive supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of trained pharmacists and pharmacy associates Facilitate periodic visits by GoB stakeholders and donors; ensure documentation, data collection, and timely reporting Maintain coordination with focal person of referral centers (DH, MCWC, UHC, MCH) Oversee printing, display, and distribution of IEC, branding, and visibility materials. Ensure consistent intervention visibility and distribution of SBCC materials as needed. Serve as focal person for SRHR training coordination and implementation. Participate in technical workshops, national-level events, and support the rollout of the Komlaphul Mobile App, telemedicine, and entrepreneurship activities. Compliance Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation. She/He will be a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment. Safeguarding/ PSEA Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. She will follow the safeguarding reporting procedure if any reportable incident occurs, encouraging others to do so. Special Assignment Carry out any other tasks the supervisor and senior management team assign. Required Qualifications At least three years of working experience with an interest in public health, focusing on SRH in any national or international non-governmental organization Bachelor's degree in social science or any other discipline Willingness to visit the targeted facilities frequently (at least 75% of the time) using public transportation to accomplish the assignments. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangla Computer literacy with particular skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Bijoy52, and MS Outlook.
