Pay Rate: $57.10 hour, depending on experienceContract Length: 1 year, with high chances of extension for the right candidate Location: Burnaby, British ColumbiaRaise is currently hiring a Program Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.DescriptionThe Program Coordinator in this role will lead, plan, and execute significant business process change or similar projects within the organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and deliver the intended business benefits while effectively managing stakeholders and project risks.ResponsibilitiesPlan, direct, and report on business process change or similar project activities by consistently monitoring project benefits, resources and status and creating documents such as project plans, action logs, communication plans, status reports and post implementation reviews so that the project is implemented as planned.Develop project plans and risk management plans for business process change or similar projects by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risks for effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle.Complete project management activities including scoping, planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on project tasks by using intermediate skills in Microsoft Office as well as project management programs to fulfill the organizations business needs.Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders through regular reporting and communication using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills enabling timely progression of projects.Qualifications3-5 years of experience involving construction projects (Not construction project manager)Preference candidates with experience performing on complex work projects.Experience with monitoring project benefits, resources and status and creating documents such as project plans, action logs, communication plans, status reportsExperience with SharePoint/Microsoft 365Project management focused - multitasking/collaborating/coordinatingPrevious Utility experience ( would be an asset for this role)Previous work in regulatory environment( would be an asset for this role)Security sensitive experience desirable( would be an asset for this role)Education and Skills Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related disciplineProject Management Professional (PMP®) designation, preferredIntermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spokenAdditional InformationEvery contractor must supply their own Windows 10 or 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”.
