If you're ready to leave passive project management behind and embrace a role with true ownership, this is your call to action.What You Will Be DoingTake charge of an AI-enhanced execution dashboard, keeping 25+ initiatives on track with transparency and accountability.Create vendor scorecards that trigger decisive actions like expanding work scope, downsizing, or vendor replacement.Conduct competitive vendor evaluations for new initiatives, setting clear scopes, budgets, and award criteria.Negotiate airtight contracts with performance guarantees and billing safeguards.Draft memos identifying vendor shortcomings, citing contract breaches, and recommending corrective measures.What You Won’t Be DoingMerely coordinating—this role demands ownership and decisiveness.Allowing vendor issues to escalate unchecked—you'll be proactive in resolving or replacing vendors.Accepting vague contracts or missed milestones without action.Producing reports without actionable follow-ups.Relying on others to leverage AI—this is a direct, hands-on position.Program Management Officer Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage the execution framework that holds vendors accountable, reallocates resources, and ensures timely, high-quality delivery across a $50M EdTech portfolio.Basic Requirements5+ years in Program Management, Portfolio Management, or PMO leadership overseeing complex portfolios.Proven experience managing $25M+ tech budgets, including vendor selection and delivery oversight.Hands-on experience with competitive bidding and contract negotiation.Experience with AI-powered execution dashboards (Linear, Jira, Notion) for executive decision-making.Daily use of AI tools for work automation and insight synthesis.Ability to deliver outcomes in high-stakes, ambiguous environments.Strong communication skills for influencing executive decisions.US-based, open to 25% domestic travel, and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.Nice-to-have RequirementsExperience starting or revamping a PMO or control system.Knowledge of EdTech platforms or academic metrics.Background in legal, procurement, or contract governance within tech.About 2 Hour LearningEducation is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
