This is what drives youYou have a clear idea of what you want: To contribute to the vision of safe and energy-efficient flying, in a team of like-minded aviation enthusiasts who are determined to shape the future of aviation.This is what you can doOverall leadership, direction and guidance of all facets of your assigned programs, projects and/or control accountsResponsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of your teams to ensure successful program executionDevelop and monitor program baselines and performance, risk, opportunities, cost & scheduleDefine, secure, organize and direct staff, resources, standards, processes, procedures and tools essential for the successful completion of a program.Provide sound leadership and team-building to motivate, influence and effectively apply the program staffDevelop good internal/external communication systemsEnsure that program requirements, purposes, objectives, and expectations are communicated and flowed-down to the internal team and subcontractorsResolve conflicts, demands and priorities on assigned programsWork unplanned program issues to a best solution, including development of plans-forward, escalation and increased resources, as requiredEffectively communicate program status to leadershipEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with engineering, operations, contracts, subcontracts, finance, security, staffing, and procurementFor supplier program management, responsibilities will focus on managing the cost, schedule and technical performance of key vendorsYou’ll bring this with youThe ideal candidate will possess superior leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff, peers, suppliers and leadership within the organizationB.S /B.A. in Engineering, Science or Mathematics or equivalent with 5-10 years of relevant aerospace industry experienceDemonstrated track record of successfully leading engineering, development, test and certification projects >$15MExperience managing innovative solutions to technical problemsExperience in building and leading a multi-disciplined team including members from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and QualityAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirementsDemonstrated knowledge of, and experience implementing, EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, and IMS tools and processes (Microsoft Project is a plus)Successful demonstration of preparing, managing and presenting required Gate reviews to leadershipStrong written and oral communication skillsSupplier program manager roles additionally require experience successfully managing vendors - generating SOWs, evaluating proposals, performing source selections, evaluating and leading the cost, schedule and technical performance of suppliersThis is who we areWe are an aircraft manufacturer with a strong heritage looking to continue our story.
