As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.In this role, you will ensure the smooth flow of materials by guaranteeing on-time delivery and managing supplier performance. You'll resolve gaps between orders and commitments, pinpoint capacity constraints with Global Commodity Managers (GCMs), and lead efforts to resolve shortages and drive continuous supplier improvement through data-driven analysis.ResponsibilitiesReview weekly supplier demand and supply commits and manage global shortages and mitigate future shortages Lead the identification and resolution of supplier capacity constraints, collaborating with Global Commodity Managers (GCMs) to develop and implement effective solutions.Work to improve supplier performance.
