Through creative communication and partnerships, we aim to amplify local voices and inspire positive change.Position SummaryThe Program Manager (with PR & Communications) will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of Sin Sar Bar’s social impact projects and campaigns while also leading the PR projects. This position combines project management, partnership building, and public relations responsibilities.The role requires a strategic and hands-on professional who can manage multiple projects, mentor a small team, and support both donor-funded and client-based PR initiatives.Key Responsibilities1. Program & Project Management• Plan, manage, and implement multiple social impact projects in line with donor requirements.• Supervise project officers and cross-functional teams (communications, creative).• Develop work plans, activity schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.• Ensure timely project reporting, documentation, and donor compliance.• Conduct field visits, oversee data collection, and write case study and success story development.2. Proposal Development & Donor Coordination• Develop concept note and proposal writing for donor calls (UN agencies, INGOs, CSOs).• Support partnership outreach and donor relationship management.• Prepare high-quality technical and financial reports.• Track project performance and funding opportunities to align with Sin Sar Bar’s goals.3. Public Relations & Communications• Develop pitch decks and PR proposals for potential clients and organizations.• Create and maintain a list of companies and organizations to pitch PR services to.• Liaise with media outlets, partners, and influencers to strengthen SSB’s visibility and network.• Design and coordinate social media campaigns, storytelling, and creative advocacy materials for clients and partners.• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and media stakeholders.4. Team Leadership & Organizational Support• Mentor and supervise staff to strengthen internal capacity.• Contribute to SSB’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with its mission and values.• Facilitate learning sessions, reviews, and knowledge-sharing across teams.• Support in team coordination, KPI, task distribution, and internal communications.Qualifications and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Communications, Social Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).• Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in project management, communications, or public relations within NGO/INGO or creative social enterprise contexts.• Proven experience in proposal writing, donor reporting, and partnership building.• Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills (both English and Burmese).• Strong understanding of digital communications and media engagement.• Leadership and team coordination experience.• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Employment TypeFull-time
