Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThe Programme Controls Manager Level Crossings is responsible for establishing and managing industry leading programme controls required to deliver the Level Crossing Removal Programme. This includes regular reporting of the programme status to the Head of Level Crossings and internal/external stakeholders.The role provides specialist advice and support to ensure programme, cost and other controls are in place. This role requires a thorough knowledge of project and programme management processes, tools and techniques including cost control, scheduling, reporting, document management, change management and risk management. This role will be focused on the level crossing removal programme but may input to different programmes depending on business priorities. Develop and implement the management framework: Share good practices and help develop systems and processes for risk management, document management, schedule management, and reporting in line with AT requirements Production of timely and quality reports on the health of the programme for governance groups e.g. Board, Steering Group, Control Group, ELT and other forums. Assist in the production of papers for associated governance groups Lead production of the comprehensive programme schedule and be responsible for updating it with support from the programme team. Act as a trusted adviser to the Head of Level Crossings to identify any programme areas that require focus and that can be improved.Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?As a seasoned professional, you’ll bring experience working in large-scale, performance-driven environments. You’ll also bring: Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Project/Programme Management, Commerce, Finance, Project planning/scheduling, Business Management or a related field.
