About The RoleFor informal enquiries, please contact Ed Allen (Assistant Programmes Manager) at edward.allen@warwick.ac.uk.This role is responsible for the provision of comprehensive administrative support to the School’s undergraduate programmes, supporting colleagues and students on their journey from recruitment through to graduation.You will provide administrative support for our undergraduate courses within the School of Engineering, and support administration as required for our joint Undergraduate, Degree Apprenticeship and Postgraduate Taught programmes.As well as being the initial point of contact for student administration and undertaking routine tasks, you will contribute and assist with Welcome Week, enrolment, graduation, award ceremonies and other student events. You will also be required to support the production of student communication and publicity.Flexible WorkingWe will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.Work LocationDue to the nature of this role, it is expected that the postholder will work a minimum of 80% of their time based in the School. Additional on campus working will be required at busy times e.g. during exam periods.About YouYou will have experience of working in an administrative role within Higher Education and understand the priorities of the environment, students and academic staff.Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide accurate advice and guidance on administrative processes or policies.You will have experience of dealing with senior members of staff and are trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.You must be able to deliver a varied workload to tight deadlines whilst paying meticulous attention to detail and ensuring the clarity and accuracy of your work.
