As a data analyst on our Corporate Profit By Line (PBL) team, you’ll support the control and oversight of daily and monthly processes that ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data used to generate the management reports establishing profitability by product line.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with other business areas to manage the allocation of cost centers, research allocation questions, and perform monthly reconciliations to maintain data integrity across multiple systems. Additionally, you’ll coordinate project work, manage monthly reporting, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis. The processes you support include cost allocations, reconciliations, report generation, and system updates, all of which contribute to providing reliable financial insights to the executive team and other leadership across the company. This is a hybrid role requiring minimum three days in office each month at 300 N. Commons Blvd. , Mayfield Village, OH 44143.

Must-have Qualifications A minimum of three years of analytical work experience {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of analytical work experience. {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study. {OR} Successful completion of Progressive's Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive's Internal Analyst Trainee program. This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidatesPreferred Skills In addition to the minimum requirements for the role, the candidate must meet requirements to work in the General Ledger.

Those General Ledger requirements include the completion of Principles of Accounting I and II -or- Financial Accounting I and II.
