Job Description

Our client, a leading provider in the retail and hospitality sector, is inviting applications for the position of Operations Manager (m/f). The candidate will be responsible for the operational management of multiple restaurants across Slovenia and Croatia, so we expect applications from candidates with proven leadership experience in the HoReCa segment. Job DescriptionSTRATEGIC AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENTParticipation in shaping the business policy, goals, and strategy. Planning long-term culinary strategy and product development. Monitoring market trends. Leading the central kitchen project. Maintaining and developing relationships with key business partners (landlords, partner brands).

TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENTLeading, motivating, and developing colleagues in operations and commercial departments. Organizing work, monitoring task execution, and ensuring team efficiency. HOSPITALITY OPERATIONSDirect management of branch managers to ensure excellent customer experience. Monitoring and achieving business goals and sharing key KPIs. Active budget management, cost and revenue analysis, profitability optimization. Ensuring quality standards. Monitoring hygiene and safety standards in hospitality. CULINARY AND OFFER DEVELOPMENTDesigning, developing, and implementing the culinary offer (including special offers, promotions, catering). Adapting pricing policy and offer to the season and market needs. BACK-END PROCESSES (SUPPLY CHAIN)Supervising procurement strategy and process efficiency.

Leading the procurement team and implementing best practices. Overseeing logistics. Responsibility for inventory and its optimization. CONTROL, ANALYTICS, AND OPTIMIZATIONMonitoring and analyzing business results, preparing reports and improvement proposals. Optimization of work and production processes. STANDARDS AND COMPLIANCEEnsuring compliance with legislation, internal policies, HACCP, health & safety, and fire protection regulations. Candidate RequirementsProficiency in English and Croatian. Basic ICT and MS Office skills. Ability for business and strategic thinking. Strong leadership, decision-making, judgment, organizational skills, and operational problem-solving in hospitality. Communication skills, empathy, precision, consistency, responsibility, persistence, initiative, and independence. Category B driving license, as the work requires frequent travel.
