Recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers, we've never lost sight of putting people first, ensuring an open culture driven by respect, support, and building long-term relationships.The Project Accountant and Billing Coordinator is responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine the profitability of projects and costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labour, as well as invoicing customers in accordance with project milestones. We are looking for someone that is detail-oriented, a fast learner, professional and a team-player. Review job costing and support the Project Managers through the life of the job. Regular meetings with the Project Managers will be required to facilitate this processAnalyze actual project costs to the budget and provide recommendations for improvementProvide detailed information to Project Managers as to overall Percent Complete of project, potential issues and potential gainsEntry of time sheets to allocate time and resources to each job on a weekly basisEnsure that all payments have been made before commencement of service or shipment of productsProvide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting process and probability of products and servicesRunning credit reports and creating customer records in the ERP system for approved new customersAttend weekly production meetings in Stratford at 8:00am each FridaySpecial projects as requiredAll other duties as assignedRequirementsA bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Accounting or FinanceInterest in project accounting and analysis Excellent in writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-growth, fast-paced environmentAdvanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel is requiredCommitment to excellence and impeccable ethical standards and integrityAdvanced time management, attention to detail and organization skills.
